Membership Transfer Request:  We are pleased to advise that Rotarian Peter Papp from Welland Club has requested that his membership be transferred to Fonthill Club effective Jan 1. 

 

Skating Party at MCC:  Jan 2, 2:00-3:00.  Open family skate with food donation to Pelham Cares requested.  Pen Financial has used skates for people to borrow.

 

Blanket Lunch with Welland:  We have been invited to join Welland Club for lunch and blanket project on Tuesday, Jan 22.  DG Melisa Schrock will be in attendance and bringing her scissors.

 

Niagara Rotary Clubs’ Joint Luncheon:  Apr 17, 11:45-1:30 at Holiday Inn in St Catharines

 

 

Mayor Junkin Presentation:  Mayor Junkin will be our guest speaker at Jan 30 breakfast.  Make sure to mark this on in your calendar and feel free to invite a prospective new member.

 

Polio Plus:  We will increase our Polio Plus club donation by 10% to $1100 this year.  It is one of the requirements for the DG Flamingo Award.  MSC Paul Snack and Mike Taylor/All

 

Rotary Family Funfest:  Paul Snack took the balance of the meeting to discuss RFFF. Frank Adamson agreed to take on sponsorship development.  Hugh Graham has found a lead for unicorn rides.  Brianna suggested a flamingo photo booth.  Paul will be going back to Bissell’s to hammer out financial details before we commit to ticket pricing.  Carolyn agreed to manage Eventbrite and marketing. Investigating a candy booth with snow cones. We also discussed how to monetize groups that would like to showcase their organization.  First official planning meeting will be scheduled for early January.
