The Rotary Club of Fonthill participating in the Canada Day Festivities at Harold Black Park started as an experiment 16 years ago!

Since then the Rotary Club of Fonthill has been the proud Sponsor and organiser of all kids activities for Canada Day at Harold Black Park.

Many volunteers have been involved over the years to help make this a memorable occasion for all to enjoy.  The volunteers have included students  from our local schools and many Rotarians and their families who have helped.

The Rotary Club of Fonthill along with the Lions Club have worked together on the Canada Day Committee to make sure this event goes off without a hitch every year.

It has become a tradition amongst young and older to come to Harold Black on Canada Day to enjoy a sno-cone, and watch their kids/grandkids have a great time making crafts or playing on the Inflatable Bouncers.

This year due to restrictions made necessary by the COVID-19 pandemic we will celebrate with a Virtual Event.  The Canada Day Committee has organized a host of virtual activities to help our community "unite virtually and share our national pride"!  Details are available via this link to the Town of Pelham Website.

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Fonthill and Lions for keeping this tradition alive!
